Sadie and I went on a walk this morning down Jason Street to the Meyerland Park. It was completely empty save for one grandpa playing with his granddaughter on the slide. I took Sadie over to the softball field since it was essentially a fenced in area and let her run around. As always, she loves to play the game where she comes running to you but then runs right by you instead of stopping.
Right after I stopped filming her, she started rolling around on the ground by the dugout fence. I went over to investigate because I thought she might be rolling around in cat shit or something. Nope. She had stumbled upon the crispy carcass of a dead toad and was proceeding to "apply" his musk. Dogs.

Fetch at the Beach
When we took Sadie to the dog friendly beach in Huntington Beach, we found a ratty old tennis ball in the sand to play fetch with. Sadie was actually interested for a little bit, until she got tired. It's not easy running around in the sand.

Dogs Like Soup Too!
She's a Pretty Woman
I love this picture. When I took it with my iPhone, it came out really dark and I didn't think it was going to be salvageable. But I used the Camera+ app and lightened it up a bit and changed the focus. Technology can make a photographer out of almost anyone.

Chantry Flats Hike
In addition to the album I posted on FB, I also took some videos of Sadie on our hike. She's such a funny little turd.
Sadie heard some people on the lower part of the trail and had to check them out.
The obligatory stream crossing (and me talking like a weirdo).
You can seem some of the snow on the ground here. You can also see how Sadie can be in two places at once.
Sadie climbed up a waterfall-ish rock and then didn't want to come back down.

Post-Bath Frenzy
Sadie's furor with which she attempts to reclaim some of her funk after a bath never ceases to amuse me.
I just had to give her a hard time...
